Roof Cleaning Beresfield
Waspindustries — 0422 607 838
Moss in the valleys, black streaking down a Colorbond sheet, lichen crusting the tile edges — if that’s what you’re looking at, this is the right page. We clean residential and commercial roofs across Beresfield and the surrounding Hunter, and yes, you’re inside the area we cover.
Do we come to Beresfield? We come to you across Beresfield — homes and businesses alike, with the same team and the same call-out process throughout the area.
Roof Cleaning in Beresfield
You end up with a roof that’s clean and still intact. That second part matters more than people expect: tiles that have been sitting under moss for a decade are brittle, and pointing lets go under too much pressure. So the method is matched to the roof — soft wash and treatment where the surface can’t take force, higher pressure only where it safely can.
What you’ll notice afterwards is the streaking and the growth gone, gutters and downpipes clear of the debris that came off, and water running where it’s meant to instead of pooling behind a dam of moss. You’ll also get told the truth about what we find up there. If a tile’s cracked or the pointing has gone, you hear about it while we’re on the roof, not in a surprise quote later.
How it works
We look before we quote. That means getting eyes on the roof — the material, the pitch, how much growth there is, what condition the ridge capping is in, and how we’d get access and set up safely.
On the day, gutters and downpipes get protected or cleared first so what comes off the roof doesn’t just relocate into them. Then the clean itself, worked in sections from the top down. Growth that’s rooted in doesn’t always lift on the first pass, so a biocide treatment goes on where it’s needed and keeps working after we leave — a roof that looks perfect the same afternoon isn’t always the roof that stays clean.
Then the ground gets cleared, and we walk you through what came off and anything we noticed while we were up there.
Why us
Twenty years of it, on homes and commercial buildings across Newcastle, Maitland, Cessnock and the Hunter. That’s long enough to have met every roof type in the region and, more usefully, to know which ones won’t tolerate being blasted. Most of the damage we’re asked to look at came from someone in a hurry with too much pressure and no plan for the runoff.
What it costs
A quote comes off the roof itself, not a rate card. Size and pitch set most of it — a steep roof is slower and needs more setup than a low one of the same area. After that it’s the material, how far the growth has gone, and whether we can get gear close to the building or have to run lines a long way. Heavy lichen on brittle tiles takes longer than surface grime on Colorbond, and the price says so. You’ll get a figure before anything starts.
The depot is here — 98 Weakley Drive. Equipment, water carts and blasting media are staged from that yard rather than trucked in for the day, so a job in Beresfield is a short run from the gear rather than a morning of travel before anyone starts work.
Getting started
Call or send through your address and, if you can, a photo of the roof from the ground. We’ll arrange a time to look at it properly, quote from what we find, and book the clean. No obligation attached to the look.
Common questions
Do you actually cover Beresfield, or just travel through?
We’re based in it. Our depot is at 98 Weakley Drive, Beresfield NSW 2322.
Will high pressure damage my tiles?
It can, which is why pressure is matched to the roof rather than applied by default. Brittle tiles and aged pointing get a soft wash and treatment instead.
Does the roof stay clean, or does the moss come straight back?
Growth that’s rooted into the surface needs a biocide treatment as well as a wash — that keeps working after we leave, which is the difference between a roof that looks clean on the day and one that stays clean.
Do you do commercial roofs as well as houses?
Yes. Twenty years across both residential homes and commercial buildings in Newcastle, Maitland, Cessnock and the Hunter Valley.
